MLE undertakes no responsibilities to <br />Subrecipient, or to any third party, other than as expressly set out in this document. Subrecipient <br />shall be solely responsible for the design, developmenf implementation, achievement of <br />deliverables and reporting of the project, as those phases are applicable to this project, and solely <br />responsible for any claim or suit of any nature by any third party related in any way to the project. <br />7.1.1 Prolect Timeline. The Subrecipient is responsible for maintaining the project timeline for all <br />dates and activities outlined as the Subrecipient's responsibility as identified in the <br />Subrecipient's FFA Grant Application (Attachment "A"). <br />The Subrecipient shall complete the approved projed no laterthan September 3O 2024 as a <br />term of the acceptance of this grant award. The project timeline cannot be extended under the <br />scope of this agreement. <br />MLE staff shall monitor the activities conducted under the scope of this project on a quarterly <br />basis. Work will be considered complete, only when the following conditions are met: <br />o The activities described in the Scope of Work and this grant document have been <br />achieved. <br />r All request for reimbursements have been submitted. <br />. All reporting through the MLE Statement of Activity Reporting system (SOAR) and <br />SECTOR have been completed <br />I Appropriate proof of completion has been provided to MLE <br />lf the work is not satisfactorily completed, Subrecipient willbe in breach and MLE may, at its <br />discretion, rescind the grant and require repayment of any grant funds already disbursed. <br />7,I.2 Design Preparation. The Subrecipient shall design a proJect that will have a reasonably likelihood <br />of positively impacting the reduction of boating accidents, boating injuries, and boating <br />fatalities. Such design shall include applicable items on the Checklist for Plans and Specifications <br />as provided in the Subrecipient's MLE Grant Application tAttachment "A"1. <br />7,1,3 Purchase. The Subrecipient shall make no purchases in excess of 52,500.00 without prior written <br />authorization by MLE. All purchases must be in the furtherance of recreational boating safety <br />and must adhere to the guidelines set out in the in the Allowable Costs and Expenditures for <br />MtE 325-188 Subrecipient Agreement - Boating Program (FFA Grant Award)Page 4 of 36
