014, amending the use for capital improvement funds at the Kittitas Valley Event Center. <br />Vice-chairman Osiadacz seconded. Motion passes 2-0. <br />6. Review Capital Improvement Sponsor Funding Use Request: Porterfield has been <br />working with the Ellensburg Rodeo Board to identify projects that would be an appropriate <br />use of the facility sponsor funding. Currently looking at possibly using the funding for fire <br />system addition in the VIP Room extension project that is being completed by the Ellensburg <br />Rodeo. The Rodeo Board is planning to move forward with the expansion of the VIP Room <br />in Western Village. Sponsorship money would also be used to upgrade the HVAC system in <br />the VIP and Ticket Office area (ticket office currently.has no HVAC and once expansion is <br />complete for VIP Room, that HVAC system will not be sufficient). Commissioners agreed <br />that would be an appropriate use of funds. <br />7. Other Business - No Action to be taken: There have been some changes to executive <br />roles on the Fair Board for 2024. The Secretary/Treasurer position has now been separated <br />into two positions. Roylene Crawford will remain as Secretary. Amy Cziske will be the Fair <br />Board Treasurer.
