HH-2023-002-KVMA-CWS <br />HOMELESS HOUSING PROGRAM <br />GRANT AGREEMENT <br />This Horneless Housing Program Grant Agreement ("Agreement") is entered into <br />between KITTITAS COLINTY, a political subdivision of the State of Washington (the <br />"county"), and KlrrlrAs vALt.EY MINISTERIAL ASSOCIATION (KVMA) in <br />collaboration with HOPESOURCE, a Washington non-profit corporation ("Recipient") for <br />the Kittitas County Cold Weather Shelter. <br />ARTICLE I - PURPOSE AND TERM <br />Section 1.1 Bufnose: The purpose of this Agreement is to distribute homeless housing <br />surchargc funds awarded pursuant to the applicable provisions of RCW 36.22 .179-l7gl. <br />Section 1.2 Term: 'l'his Agreement shall take effect October 16th,2023, and rcrminate on <br />March 29th,2024. <br />ARTICLE II _ GRANT AMOTINT, USE AND BUDGET <br />Section 2.1 (iraqt Amount: The Recipient is awarded a total of up to ninety-nine <br />thousand six-hundred eighty-three dollars and fifty cents ($99,683.50) (the "Grant <br />Award") to be administered as follows as Grant Award HH-2023-002-KVMA-cws. <br />Section 2.2 Use of Grant. The Recipient shall use the Grant Award solely for the purposes <br />and in the manner described in Exhibit A - Attached Application, which is incorporated <br />by this reference. Adjustments to Proposed Project Timelines may be requested of the <br />Committec in writing and the Committee may recommend adjustments to the Board of <br />Kittitas County Commissioners. These recommendations may be granted or denied at the <br />discretion o f the Board of Kittitas County Commissioners. <br />Section 2.3 Budqet. The Grant Award shall be expended by the Recipient as set forth in <br />Exhibit A - Attached Application. Adjustments to Proposed Project Budgets may be <br />requested of the Committee in writing and the Committee may recommend adjustments to <br />the Board of Kittitas County Commissioners. These recommendations may be grantcd or <br />denied at the discretion o f the Board of Kittitas County Commissioners.
