BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF'KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />oN No. 2o.,.- lLp 4RESOI, <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF A HOMELESS HOUSING <br />PROGRAM GRANT AGREEMENT FOR THE COLD WE,ATHER SHELTER <br />WHEREAS: <br />WHEREAS:The Kittitas county Homelessness and Affordable Flousing committee met at <br />their regularly scheduled meeting on october 2,2023,and voted unanimously <br />for the below described funding recommcndation; ancl <br />Kittitas county has previously contracted with Kittitas valley Ministerial <br />Association and HopeSourcs, a non-profit organization; and <br />WHEREAS: Kittitas County clesires to aid $99,683.50 (ninety-nine thousand six-hundred <br />eighty+hree dollars and fifly cents) in funding of the Cold Weather Shelter; and <br />WHEREAS: Kittitas County desires to contract with Kittitas Valley MinisterialAssociation <br />and HopeSource. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, The Kittitas County Board of Commissioner.s <br />authorizcs the execution of the attached Homeless f{ousing Granl Agreement <br />following the recommendations as made by the Homelessness and Affordablc <br />Flousing Committee with Kittitas Valley Ministerial Association and <br />HopeSource for the provisions of the colcl weather shelter. <br />DA'I'ED this #+ 6\ <br />day of (Q,glp b($1-,Zlz3,at Ellensburg, Washington. <br />BOARD OF NTY COMMISSIONERS <br />KIT'T INGTON <br />rman <br />th, Vice-Chairman <br />vtt,t(.T <br />erk of oard
