SCOPE OF WORK (continued) <br />Meetings with Regulators <br />Consultant and County will meet with regulators from the Kittitas County Department of Public Health (DOH) and <br />the Department of Ecology (Ecology) to discuss what items the regulators would like to see for the final closure of <br />the landfill. <br />Anticipated items the regulators will require: <br />• Updated 2004 LPL Permit figure to show liner limits and existing conditions <br />• Final Cover Design <br />• Update the Plan of Operations <br />• Updated Closure/Post-Closure Plan <br />• SEPA (to be completed under Task 09: SEPA Checklist) <br />Update LPL Permit <br />The figure site figure for the LPL permit will be updated to reflect the existing conditions and surveyed limits of <br />waste. The County will provide the surveyed limits of waste for this task. <br />Final Cover Design <br />The assumption for this scope is that the County will take this project out to bid. A full bid set will there for be <br />compiled for this project. <br />Design items to be provided by Consultant: <br />• Drawing Sheet Set including: <br />o Cover Sheet <br />o Final grade plan sheet <br />o Drainage Plan sheet <br />o Landfill Sections <br />o Cover system and stormwater details <br />• Specifications <br />• Engineer's opinion of probable construction cost. <br />Though the cover system is planed to be installed in stages, this task assumes one plan set. <br />Update Operations and Maintenance Plan <br />This task involves modifying the exiting Operations and Maintenance Plan from the approved 2004 LPL Permit and <br />incorporating aspects of the draft Operations and Maintenance Plan from the Draft Expansion Permit. <br />Update Closure/Post-Closure Plan <br />Update the existing LPL Post -Closure Care plan to reflect existing conditions and identify if there are any items <br />that do not meet current regulations. <br />Kittitas County Solid Waste <br />Groundwater Monitoring Well, LPL Closure, Biosolids Expansion 4 September 2023 <br />Area, and Air Permit <br />
