5lFuture Plans <br />Please explain what plans exist to allow this project to become self-sustaining. lnclude any plans for ticket <br />sales, event sponsors, and other cost-recovery models. <br />Future Plans*The plans to allowthis event to become self-sustaining are continuing to investing <br />profits back into future shoun, evaluating vendor and gate fees and adjusting <br />urhere needed to offset e&enses and continued collaboration with other events <br />and activities for cross promoting. With both shovw now being over 4 years, I am <br />looking ahead and evaluating vrays to become self-sustaining. lam also evaluating <br />r,rays of cosl recovery for future, in the event current facilities become out of <br />budget with the continued rate increases or decline in facility upkeep prevents the <br />usage. <br />2500 character linit <br />Application Questions: Parl 4 <br />6l Additional Information <br />Provide any additional information which will assist the Lodging TaxAdvisory Committee in evaluating your <br />project and its benefit to tourism. <br />Additional lnformation The fall show has not yet been held for 20'19 so the numbers in the budget for <br />2019 are not finalized numbers. The atlendance used in calculations are an <br />estimate of what is aniicipated for the fall 2019 show. <br />Junktiquen in the Burg is gaining a large following of both shoppers and vendors <br />Vendors spaces are maxed out with a uaiting list and the number of shoppers <br />continues to grow <br />f.,lational magalne, Flea Market Gardens, named the showas one of readers'top <br />choice vintage shovris to attend. ln 2017, Junk-tiquen in the Burg vtas named one of <br />the 12 top vintage markets in the United States as a must attend show by National <br />magalne, Flea Market Decor'. <br />Receiving this grant will allow me to build on this and continue to advertise to <br />markets outside ofthe County and State, drawing more shoppers and vendors <br />from out of the area.
