17 | P a g e <br /> <br />(greater than seven consecutive days) are required to establish a parking agreement <br />with the airport office. It will be the individual's responsibility to coordinate tie- <br />down assignments and any applicable fees with the airport's designated agent, <br />normally the ASP. <br />It will be the responsibility of the aircraft's operator to contain any oil or fuel leakage <br />of a parked aircraft. Repairs of any damage resulting from failure to observe proper <br />containment of such leaks shall be made at the expense of the aircraft owner and in <br />accordance with Local, State and Federal laws, rules, and regulations. <br />No aircraft shall be left unattended on the Airport unless properly secured or within <br />a hangar. Owners of such aircraft shall be held responsible for any damage resulting <br />from failure to comply with this rule. <br />3. Aircraft Cleaning <br />No person shall use flammable or volatile materials in the cleaning of aircraft, <br />vehicles, equipment, or accessories, unless such cleaning operations are conducted <br />in open areas as designated or in a room specifically set aside for this purpose. Said <br />room must be equipped with adequate, readily accessible fire extinguishing <br />apparatus. <br /> <br />4. Changing of Oil <br />Persons changing oil in aircraft engines shall be responsible for the disposition of the <br />waste oil. Because of ecology and contamination, no oil will be disposed of on the <br />Airport in any manner. Used or spent engine oil shall be disposed of only at waste oil <br />stations or approved disposal points. <br />5. Disabled or Non-Airworthy Aircraft <br />Only Aircraft considered airworthy by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) shall <br />use the Airfield for Aircraft parking, staging, or storage. <br /> <br />Aircraft may undergo major renovation or restoration at the Airfield as long as the <br />Aircraft is stored in a Hangar approved for such Aircraft Maintenance. <br /> <br />The Aircraft Owner or Aircraft Operator shall promptly remove aircraft that are non - <br />airworthy from the Airfield unless otherwise authorized in writing by the Airport <br />Director. <br /> <br />Aircraft Owners or Aircraft Operators shall be responsible for the safe and prompt <br />removal of disabled Aircraft and any part thereof from a Movement Area to a <br />designated Non-Movement Area, unless otherwise required or directed by the <br />County, FAA, National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB), or Agency having <br />jurisdiction. <br />
