15 | P a g e <br /> <br />Operational authorizations issued under these Rules and Regulations, section 10 of <br />this document, shall be rendered invalid until the emergency has been fully and <br />completely resolved and normal operations have resumed at the Airport. <br /> <br />The Bowers Field Airport Emergency Plan establishes procedures and responsibilities <br />in the event of an aircraft emergency, accident, or other incident at the airport. Any <br />additional emergency directives or procedures needed may be issued at the <br />discretion of the Airport Director. <br /> <br />The Airport Director shall determine when normal operations may resume. <br /> <br />29. Special Events <br />Special events such as air shows, air races, fly-ins, sky diving and all events requiring <br />the general use of the Airport shall be held only upon prior approval of the Airport <br />Director and BoCC on such dates, in such areas and upon such terms and conditions <br />as shall be specified by the Airport Director. <br /> <br />30. Solicitations & Advertisements <br />No person shall solicit funds for any purpose on the Airfield without permission of <br />the Airport Director. <br /> <br />No person shall post, distribute, or display signs, advertisements, circulars, printed <br />or written matter at the Airfield without the prior approval of the Airport Director, <br />and only in such a manner as prescribed, except within leased buildings. <br /> <br />31. Remedy of Injunction <br />In addition to all other rights and remedies provided in these Rules and Regulations , <br />the County shall have any and all other remedies at law or in equity, including the <br />equitable remedy of injunction, to enforce these Rules and Regulations. <br />32. Weapons <br />Any weapons (including, but not limited to, firearms, tear gas, mace, pepper spray, <br />or similar materials or substances) or explosives in Public Areas of the Airport may <br />only be possessed and handled in accordance with all applicable federal, state, and <br />local laws. <br /> <br />Discharge of any weapon on the Airfield is strictly prohibited, except in the <br />performance of official duties, in the lawful defense of life or Property, or by <br />authorized personnel for purposes of wildlife management. <br /> <br />AIRCRAFT OPERATIONS <br />1. Aircraft Movement <br />Pilots must announce their intentions on UNICOM frequency 123.00, if so equipped. <br />
