14 | P a g e <br /> <br /> <br />No Hazardous Materials (i.e., fuel from Aircraft sump drains) shall be disposed of on <br />the ground or into the air at the Airport during Aircraft preflight inspections. <br />Any person who experiences a release of Hazardous Materials shall fully comply with <br />the Environmental (Hazardous Materials) Clean Up section of these Rules and <br />Regulations and Regulatory Measures <br /> <br /> <br />25. Environmental (Hazardous Materials) Clean Up <br />The party responsible for an environmental incident, Hazardous Materials overflow, <br />or spill (regardless of the amount of the overflow or spill) shall take appropriate <br />action to contain the overflow or spill, notify the Fire Department, and clean up, <br />mitigate, and remediate the site. <br /> <br />In the event the Airport Director determines the responsible party is unavailable or <br />unable (or if the responsible party, after being notified by the County, refuses or <br />fails) to take the appropriate action to mitigate the adverse environmental incident <br />in a timely manner, the Airport Director may take action and/or employ those <br />services that are required to control and/or clean up the site at the risk, cost, and <br />expense of the responsible party, without liability to the County. <br /> <br />26. Snow Removal <br />Unless otherwise agreed to by the Airport Director, snow removal within leased <br />areas is the responsibility of the lessee. Snow removal operations by Airport <br />Personnel will be in accordance with the Airport’s Snow Removal Plan with the <br />highest priority of maintaining the runways and taxiways. <br /> <br />It is the responsibility of the lessee to perform snow removal within their leased <br />vehicle parking areas and associated public sidewalks. <br /> <br />Any chemicals used for deicing and anti-icing within the AOA must be safe and non- <br />corrosive to aircraft and be coordinated and approved by the Airport Director prior <br />to use. <br /> <br />27. Smoking <br />No smoking is permitted within the AOA or within hangars. Outside the AOA, <br />smoking is not permitted within a distance of 25 feet of public places or places of <br />employment, in accordance with RCW 70.160.075. <br /> <br />28. Emergency Conditions <br />Emergency conditions at the Airport shall not mitigate or cancel these Rules and <br />Regulations. <br />
