On August 29, 2000 the Kittitas County Board of Commissioners held a <br />continued public hearing to accept the Planning Commissions <br />recommendations and set additional continued public hearings for September <br />18`h and September 200' . to accept public testimony on the Planning <br />Commission's recommendations. <br />12. On September 12, 2000 the Kittitas County Planning Department published <br />proposed revisions to the Planning Commissions recommendations and <br />provided public notice as to the availability of the documents. <br />13. On September 18, 2000 the Kittitas County Board of Cormnissioners held M <br />continued public hearing in Cle Blum, WA, to accept testimony on the <br />Planning Commission's recommendations and proposed revisions. <br />14. On September 20, 2000 the Kittitas County Board of Commissioners held a <br />continued public hearing in Ellensburg, WA, to accept testimony on the <br />Planning Commission's recommendations and proposed revisions. Public <br />testimony and, the record were closed at the close of this hearing. This hearing <br />was subsequently continued to September 25, 2000 to conduct a study session <br />for continued review of the documents. This study session was subsequently <br />continued to October 4, 2000 for additional review- <br />15. <br />eview_ <br />1S. On October 4, 2000 the Kittitas County Board of Commissioners held a. <br />continued public heating to review the application packet. Amer reviewing <br />the preliminary final documents, the Board voted to approve the application <br />packet, through a unanimous vote, and directed staff to prepare the necessary <br />documents for final signatures on October 10, 2000. <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners enter the following findings of fact <br />related to the MountainStar Master Planned Resort Subarea Pian: <br />1. The Kittitas County Board of Commissioners find that the County adopted its <br />Comprehensive Plan pursuant to GMA by Ordinance No, 96-10 on July 26, <br />1996; <br />2.
