Paid advertising on Kittitas and Yakima radio stations, design and distribute posters and flyers, place paid ads on our social media platforms and keep our website updated with Memorial Day Celebration activiiies. The comnrittee works together to distribute information on the Memorial Day Celebratron. From Snoqualmie Pass to Ellensburg. print flyers and posters are placed in as many locations as we can possibly put them. We print small postcards that are distributed event to lodging locations so that their guests are given them when they check-in. lnformation on the Easton Memorial Day Celebration is posted on Discover Cle Elum, Kittitas County Chamber of Commerce, Easton School District, Easton Fire Department, and multiple Facebook pages. This has provided a tremendous amount of free promotion. We plan to cont;nue with these partnerships and look for additional ones that can help promote to a larger audience. This year through a generous donation, we will be able io update our website and make it more interaclive to visitors. For thirty-one years our event materials have been either hand made or designed by committee members using limited knowledge. This year we are updating our publicity by adding additional funds in our Memorial Day Celebration budget to receive help with our publicity and event promotion. lt is time for us to identify and adopt some new or expanded ways irr which we can promote this wonderful celebration. We recognize that in the two years since our event has occurred, there are new tips and ways to attract visitors and tourists. A lot of these changes align to online nrarketing and social media tools, such as geofencing. lnstagram, paid advertising, YouTube and increasing our co- marketing with local partners to obtain help in sharing about our event. 2500 character limit Application Questions: Part 3 4l Collaboration lf your organizaHon collaborates or has created partnerships with other organizations, groups, or other events, how is this accomplished? 4.1 Collaboration *The Easton Memorial Day Celebration Committee takes time, each year, to confirm partnerships and identify possible new ones. The committee is made up of comnrunity members and those who represent the Easton Fire Department, Easton School District, local organizations and businesses in Easton. Many of our partners provide important components of the day's celebration. As an example, the Cabin Creek Cruisers host the car show, the lron Freedom Motorcycle Club host the motorcycle show, the Snomads snowmobile club host the beer garden. Our partnership with the Easton School enables us to use their parking lot for the KidZone which is one of our most popular activities during the day of celebratrng. Our publicity partners include the North Kittitas County Tribune who provide a padial donation of our ads.
