NIMS provides a consistent, natioirwiJe approach and <br />vocabulary for multiple agencies or jurisdictions to work together to build, llstaln, and <br />deliver the core capabilities needed to achleve a secure and-resilient nation. <br />b. SS s121 6t seq.i anO <br />section 662 of the Post lGtrina Emergency Management Ast (6 u.s.c. S 262). <br />A pottion of the 21EMPG-ARPA is passed nro^yg_h to local jurlsdis-tions and tribes with emergency <br />management programs to supplemenl their locaUtribal openting budgets to help sustain and enfranci <br />smergency management capabilities pursuant to Washington Administrafive Code (WAC) 11&Og. <br />a. The Subreciplent shall use the EMPG funds authorized under this Agreement only to perform <br />tasks m described in the Work Plan of the Subredpient's applicatkrn fol funding, as ipprbved by <br />the Departnent and lncorporated into this Agreement. <br />b.
