This allows you to set the report parameters for the <br />AVAILABLE IN 9.0.0 <br />screen options, earnings codes, deduction codes and occupation codes. <br />T4: Automatic <br />Backup <br />JIRA # <br />CAYENTA FEATURE DESCRIPTION <br />CP -6283 Cayenta added an automatic backup from the T4 process to a new YTD table <br />(PA941 T). <br />AVAILABLE IN 9.0.0 <br />The new table includes a Year column, which is used by Connect Employee Self <br />Service as a single source to display T4 information to employees. <br />T4 Boxes <br />ARA # <br />CAYENTA FEATURE DESCRIPTION <br />AVAILABLE IN 9.0.0 <br />Cayenta added in the new boxes required for the 2020 tax year to the T4 process <br />in Jira r:P-6422. <br />This is a further enhancement which adds a new process to recalculate the <br />amounts based upon the effective date for each box. The check date is used to <br />determine which box number the pay period falls into. <br />• Box 57: Employment income March 15 to May 9 <br />• Box 58: Employment income May 10 to July 4 <br />• Box 59: Employment income - July 5 to August 29 <br />• Box 60: Employment income - August 30 to September 26 <br />T4 Process Enhancement <br />JIRA # CAYENTA FEATURE DESCRIPTION <br />CP -11 14 Cayenta enhanced the T4 Process to allow for Multiple T4s for Multiple RCT <br />numbers. We changed Regular Payroll Processing to create a verify each Employer <br />AVAILABLE IN 9.0.0 ID (Revenue Canada Business Number or FED ID) processing multiple checks for <br />an employee. We have also updated the T4 Process to pint multiple T4's for an <br />employee who has multiple RCT numbers. <br />Examples of an employee receiving mu!tiple checks for multiple RCT numbers are: <br />Change of Employee Type (e.g., Probation to Recular). Employee has <br />different employee type within the pay period. <br />Employee working in different Positions. Same employee number (e.g., <br />Substitute and Teacher). Employee will have multiple assignments. Each <br />assignment will have different employee type. <br />Page 11 <br />
