<br /> GOALS AND OBJECTIVES <br /> <br />Airport Strategic Business Plan, 07/26/2021 3 <br />MISSION The Mission of Kittitas County Airport – Bowers Field is to operate and develop the  <br />Airport and Industrial Park in a safe and efficient manner to encourage the availability  <br />of high‐quality aviation and non‐aviation products, services, and facilities; support  <br />professional aviation education programs; enhance the economic benefit for the  <br />County; and support local and regional emergency preparedness.  <br />VISION The Vision for the Kittitas County Airport – Bowers Field is to be the leading Central  <br />Washington regional general aviation airport that is a vital and self‐sufficient center of  <br />air transportation and economic activity.  <br />GOAL 1  <br />  <br />Increase the capital investment in revenue generating assets at the Airport by forty  <br />percent (40%) by the end of 2024  <br />OBJECTIVE  <br />1‐1  <br />[From Objective 1‐2]  <br />Finalize leasing, rents, and fees policies by the end of 2021 for implementation in 2022   <br />OBJECTIVE  <br />1‐2  <br />[From Objective 1‐3]   <br />Propose capital investment in the Airport and/or industrial park by 2022 through  <br />different funding mechanisms (e.g., loans, bonds, etc.)   <br />OBJECTIVE  <br />1‐3  <br />Identify and apply for two (2) and secure one (1) non‐aviation federal and/or state  <br />grants annually  <br />OBJECTIVE  <br />1‐4  <br />[From Objective 1‐4]   <br />Develop a comprehensive Airport (including the industrial park) marketing and public  <br />relations program by the end of 2021 for implementation in 2022  <br />OBJECTIVE  <br />1‐5  <br />Increase the total number of aeronautical and non‐aeronautical land/improvement  <br />leases by twenty‐five percent (25%) by 2024  <br />OBJECTIVE  <br />1‐6  <br />Design and develop (and provide infrastructure to) land parcels that can support the  <br />development of aircraft storage facilities by the end of 2021  <br />OBJECTIVE  <br />1‐7  <br />Increase total based aircraft at the Airport by fifteen (15) aircraft by the end of 2024  <br /> <br />
