Prioritization will be based on the
length of time homeless and the severity of the household's needs.
Operate an effective and efficient homeless crisis response system that
swiftly moves people into stable permanent housing.
The Kittitas County Continuum of Care Coordinated Entry System for homeless
individuals has been created to better maximize resources available in the community
and to quickly re-house homeless individuals or prevent eviction. Using a web-based
entry system that can be accessed from any computer or phone, the system is
positioned to deliver information to the entire housing provider network immediately in
one step, avoiding the need to go "door to door" for assistance. Agencies then
communicate among themselves to determine the best choice for the applicant and to
prioritize services. The client is then contacted for a full intake with the agency best
suited to meet their needs
{
6
Doc lD: 827c530853eb58e65a7bdf36e6b276d23884551 f
