3.1.2 Page Layout
A basic design feature of BehavePlus is the page format of 8'i- by 114nch that is suitable
for printing. The worksheet may carry over from one page to the next. Each output table
or graph begins at the top of a new page. Wide or long tables may span several pages. A
run exported to HTML format does not have page breaks, and the exported file can be re-
formatted using a spreadsheet (Section 8.6). The general layout is similar for all Behave -
Plus pages (Figure 3).
5—Page Header
The header line on each BehavePlus page includes the program name, version number
(BehavePlus 5.0.1), and page number. When calculations are made, the date and time are
added. The program version number is useful for future reference. A change log for the
program is available on the BehavePlus web site that lists bug fixes and also provides
a summary of updates made with each major version. The date and time in the header
change each time you Calculate a run, providing a means of matching input and output
pages if they are separated after being printed. Each worksheet and results page is num-
bered. If portions of BehavePlus input and output pages are included in a report, it is im-
portant to include the page header for complete documentation.
6—Tabs
Tabs can be added to the page layout as an additional means of organization and docu-
mentation using Configure > Appearance preferences > Page Tabs (Appendix H). An
identical tab is placed on every page of the run. You can create a tab for a related run in
the next position on the page.
7—Page Border
The page border color and width can be changed using Configure > Appearance pref-
erences > Application (Appendix H). A border width of zero eliminates the border sur-
rounding the page. This setting applies to all worksheets in the current BehavePlus ses-
sion. Any change made using Configure > Appearance preferences > Application is
preserved between BehavePlus sessions.
rw caa " VAN e~ rwm w mea MW
BrLatePhu 5.0.1
ft.
