3.1.1 Window Components
The BehavePlus window header and footer (Figure 2) give information about the pro-
gram, the current run and workspace, and the operation menu and icons. The body of the
window is the worksheet and results pages, as described in following sections.
1—Window Label
The window label shows the program name and version number (BehavePlus 5.0. 1) and
the name of the run (not of the worksheet). The name is initially unnamed0l.bpr, in-
creasing sequentially with each worksheet that is opened. When a run is saved, the run
name changes to the file name used when saving. When a run is opened, the name in the
window header is the file name of that run. More than one worksheet and/or run can be
open at a time; the header helps you keep track of which file you are viewing. You can
switch among worksheets or cascade or tile their display using the Windows drop-down
menu.
2—Menu Items
The menu items located in the toolbar at the top of the BehavePlus window provide ac-
cess to all of the BehavePlus commands.
3—Command. Icons
Icons are available below the menu items for commonly used commands, especially the
Module Selection icon and the Calculate icon (circled in green). The arrows let you
view first, last, next, and previous pages. Hovering the cursor over the icon shows its
function.
4—Window Footer
The window footer provides the location of the current workspace (Section 9.2). In addi-
tion, the current page number and the total number of pages are given in the footer.
1
Z
3
worlpece c:aharehavae+dtoetaradark x of al "
Figure 2—BehavePlus window components, header, and footer.
