T <br />DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />10MIA5 COUNTY <br />Formal Task Order Document <br />Maximum Amount <br />Payable <br />(KPFF) <br />Task Order <br />Number <br />$71,000 <br />004 <br />Completion 3/31/2023 <br />Date <br />The general provisions and clauses of the On -Call Professional Services Agreement shall <br />be in full force and effect for this Task Order. <br />LOCATION OF PROJECT <br />Kittitas County, City of Cie Elum, Town of Kittitas, and City of Ellensburg. <br />PROJECT TITLE <br />2022 Routine, Inventory, and "Short -Span" Bridge Inspections and Repair List. <br />DESCRIPTION OF WORK <br />KPFF will provide a WSDOT Certified Bridge Inspector to serve as the inspection team leader <br />for 119 Kittitas County (County) bridge inspections, four (4) City of Cie Elum bridge inspections, <br />three (3) Town of Kittitas bridge inspections, and eight (8) City of Ellensburg bridge inspections. <br />Of the 134 bridges, there are 59 bridges that meet the National Bridge Inventory (NBI) definition <br />of a "Bridge", namely the abutment -to -abutment distance is greater than 20 feet. The remaining <br />bridges do not meet the NBI definition and are referred to as -short-span" bridges. Regardless <br />of the bridge span length or definition all bridge structures will receive an inspection, which is in <br />general conformance with the standard WSDOT Routine Bridge Inspection methods and <br />formats. <br />A list of all bridges to be inspected by KPFF is included as an attachment to this scope of work. <br />
