BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2022 - <br />RATIFYING THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC WORKS SIGNATURE ON KPFF TASK <br />NUMBER 4 — 2022 BRIDGE INSPECTIONS <br />WHEREAS: Public Works solicited for engineering support services in January 2020 <br />pursuant to County procurement policies consistent with state law; and <br />WHEREAS: The Board of County Commissioners approved KPFF for structural <br />engineering support services with Resolution 2020-075; and <br />WHEREAS: Public Works desires KPFF bridge inspection support services for 2022; <br />and <br />WHEREAS: Public Works is required to inspect the county's bridges pursuant to federal <br />and state inspection requirements in a timely manner; and <br />WHEREAS: The Director of Public Work did sign KPFF Task Order Number 4 — 2022 <br />Bridge Inspections on March 21, 2022, in the amount of $71,000; and <br />WHEREAS: The Director's contract signature authority is set at $50,000. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: The Board of County Commissioners, after due <br />consideration, does hereby ratify the Director's signature on KPFF Task Order Number 4 -- <br />2022 Bridge Inspections for $71,000. <br />DATED this 28h day of March 2022, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br />Attest: <br />❑ Clerk of the Board- Julie Kjorsvik <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />Laura Osiadacz, Chairman <br />Cory Wright, Vice -Chairman <br />❑ Deputy Clerk of the Board- Mandy Buchholz <br />Brett Wachsmith, Commissioner <br />
