Please review the attached performance measures and business <br />plan, in which we will be providing the required reporting for the requested funds. This will be the same <br />metrics we will be providing. Also including (but not limited to):o Number of businesses sited, retained, expanded, or startups.o Number ofjobs created <br />o Number ofjobs retained <br />o Number of Capital Infusion thru Loans/Equityo Number of Government Contracts Awardso Amount of invesfment generated <br />o Average annual wage of created jobs (in dollars)o Total Clients counseled/Total Client Hours <br />6. Indicate if the proposed position is consistent with the following applicable state, regional and local <br />plans and priorities for economic development. Please include the pertlnent sections of the respective <br />plan(s) as justification. Please explain in detail how this position is compatible with the plan(s): <br />tr Overall Economic Development Plan - Officially Adopted June 2019 <br />The trio ofpositions will help to achieve the goals found in the Kittitas County comprehensive Plan, <br />noted in Chapter 10 on Economic Development. This will be the area in which the proposed <br />Director will create a timeline of goals and deliverables to be met. Specific areas will be as follows:o Business Retention and Expansion <br />o Recruitment/Relocation to the county <br />e Low impact to resources and lando Commercial/Industrial Infrastructure <br />r Property/Land inventory at the airport <br />Kittitas County along with the City of Ellensburg has initiated the opportunity to update the 2009 TIP <br />Strategies Economic Development and Action Plan. Creating a steering committee, which Kittitas <br />County Chamber/ADO is a membero and other tasks that will begin November 2021. <br />City of Cle Elum Comprehensive Plan - Officially Adopted June 2019 <br />The work of Kittitas County Chamber of Commerce will continue the partnership with the <br />City of Cle Elum by following goals and policies found in their Comprehensive Plan <br />chapter on Economic Development.
