We've <br />helped them become more of a community member throltgh activities that ihey can <br />engage in and ra/ere previor-rsly not asked to consider, such as a donation of <br />unused personal care products to HopeSource. <br />COVID 19 has provided ciir organization \^,1th many new opporturlities to <br />partnership in our downtowl, with communily organizations. The Main Streei <br />philosophy and success that our Dovmtown Association follovrs, if founded on the <br />premise that "together" we build a vital economic br"rsiness and community. We <br />work logether wrll our businesses to identify retail activities, prornotional <br />opportunities and celebrations thal encourage participation by travelers arrd <br />tourists- <br />The Cle Elum Downtowr Association has four primary comntiilees, all wtro are <br />centered in economic vitality and ti/orking hard io meet the needs of our business <br />and tourism goals. Board members participate on and with Service Organizations, <br />City Council, Business Associahons, Kittitas County Chamber, Tourism anci Travel <br />lndustry, Real Estate, and more, Our reach allovris us to feel ancl understand the <br />pulse of how to help our communily in supporting their events as well as providing <br />an opportunity for support from our parlners.
