OB/GYN,and Family Medicine,among other specialties.The potential MAT partner <br />organization will also need to employ social workers,caseworkers,counselors,and mental health <br />practitioners.This diverse staff will lead to a holistic approach driving positive outcomes, <br />including family stability,stable housing,improved overall health,and reduced rates of <br />recidivism. <br />Kittitas County Sheriff's Office Project Lead: <br />Kittitas County Sheriff's Office has identified Lieutenant Edward Buntin as the Project <br />Lead.Lieutenant Buntin will oversee the budget,project contracts,correctional staff,and other <br />grant duties.As project lead,Lieutenant Buntin will work closely as the point of contact with <br />Kittitas County leadership,BJA grant staff,MAT partner organization,and his local conununity <br />to make sure the scope and direction of the project is completed. <br />Lieutenant Buntin was hired with the Sheriff's Office in January 2005.He has worked as <br />a Control Room Operator,Corrections Officer,Corporal,Sergeant and has been the Lieutenant <br />since 2015.Lieutenant Buntin graduated from the Washington State Corrections Officer <br />Academy in 2005 and continues to attend regular education events and in 2018 received a <br />Middle Management Certification from the Washington State Criminal Justice Training Center. <br />Lieutenant Buntin is responsible for the planning,organization,and directing of the <br />activities for corrections staff to insure the lawful and proper care of inmates.In his duties, <br />Lieutenant Buntin maintains effective working relationships with administrative personnel, <br />public agencies,and the general public to accomplish work under the guidance of State and <br />Federal laws and regulations,Sheriff s Office and County polices,regulations and procedures. <br />Other duties include inventory control,training for staff,overseeing civilian law enforcement <br />clerks,volunteer (Ministry,Narcotics Anonymous,Alcoholics Anonymous,etc.)programs, <br />13 of 20
