• One (1) Draft memorandum for County review in electronic format. <br />• One (1) Draft memorandum for WSDOT review and comment in electronic <br />format. <br />• One (1) Final memorandum in electronic format. <br />TASK NO. 3.0— BRIDGE IIYSPEcnoAf & REPORT <br />Task 3.10 — Bridge Inspection & Report <br />KPFF will perform a fracture critical (FC) inspection of the N Thorp Highway over Yakima <br />River truss bridge. KPFF will provide a WSDOT Certified Bridge inspector to serve as <br />team leader and two (2) co -inspectors. The FC inspection will conform to all procedures <br />and inspection methods outline in the Washington State Bridge Inspection Manual <br />(WSBIM). <br />KPFF will prepare and file the FC bridge inspection report in the Bridgeworks database. <br />The inspection report will conform to WSBIM standards. <br />KPFF will document any damage to the steel structure and the concrete piers using <br />photographs and field measurements. This documentation will be used to develop the <br />repair PS&E (see Task 4.0). KPFF will send a photo log and brief description of all <br />damaged/deteriorated elements to the County for review. <br />Assumptions <br />• Traffic control for the bridge inspection will be provided by an outside traffic <br />control vendor. Costs for this vendor are included as a reimbursable expense. <br />• Field inspection is expected to take 1.5 working days. <br />• Field inspection will be performed by climbing the structure. <br />Deliverables <br />K FC inspection of the N Thorp Highway over Yakima River Bridge <br />• FC bridge inspection report, filed to Bridgeworks database (electronic) <br />• Documented damage/deterioration of steel truss members and concrete piers <br />(PDFs, photographs) <br />As an alternative or in conjunction with climbing the truss, the County may elect to use a <br />UGIT to perform part or all of the bridge inspection. The County will coordinate with <br />WSDOT to provide the OBIT and submit payment through an inter -agency agreement. <br />For this alternative inspection access, KPFF will also serve as the lead inspector and <br />provide the same deliverables listed above. <br />TASK NO. 4.0 — CIVIUSTRUCTURAL ENGINEERING AND PLANS, SPECIFICATIONS <br />AND COST ESTIMATE (PS&E) <br />Task 4.10 — Civil/Structural Engineering and PS&E <br />
