Employees who require computer access or a County email account shall receive and <br />acknowledqe: <br />1.Cyber security awareness traininq,prior to beinq qiven access,and biennially <br />thereafter. <br />2.This Technical Policy Manual,within two (2)weeks of beinq provided access. <br />Employees will direct any questions reqardinq technoloqy policies and traininq to IT. <br />Employees will also be required to participate in ongoinq security awareness traininq as <br />determined by the IT Director based on industry standards/best practices,and as directed by <br />the BoCC. <br />Failure to complete required traininq and acknowledqement will be considered a violation of <br />County policy. <br />1.5 Responsibilities <br />1.5.1 DHIEO <br />Each Department Head/Elected Official (DHIEO)is responsible for ensuring ydheir <br />staffemployees is-are_aware of and eemplies-comply with these policies. <br />1.5.2 Employees <br />1.Understand and follow Technology Policies. <br />2.Ask your DHIEO,supervisor,or IT if you have any questions about this or any other <br />policy. <br />1.5.3 IT <br />1.Provide appropriate support and guidance to assist employees to fulfill their <br />responsibilities under these policies. <br />2.Enforce Technology Policies in a consistent and thorough manner. <br />3.The IT Director shall develop and maintain written standards and procedures <br />necessary to ensure implementation of and compliance with these policies. <br />3
