work on an employee's personal computer or equipment for any issue related to eeanty- <br />County business (see Personnel Policy Manual 4-5 Outside Employment). <br />6.4.12 County aData-access <br />Kittitas-The_County reserves the right to access,audit,and inspect your personal devices <br />used to conduct eeunty-County business and all information stored on them. <br />6.4.12.1 No expectation of privacy <br />You shall have no expectation of privacy for materials viewed or stored on your personal <br />devices used to conduct eeëntyCounty business. <br />6.5 Responsibilities <br />6.5.1 DHIEOldesignee <br />1.Ensure your staff-isemployees are aware of and compliesy with these policies. <br />2.Authorize device connection to the KCounty network using the Personal Equipment <br />Policy Authorization form,as needed for eeantyCounty business. <br />3.Report lost or stolen network connected personal equipment to an_lT staff-employee <br />or the IT Director. <br />4.Notify IT when employees who have network connected personal equipment <br />separate from service. <br />6.5.2 Employees <br />1.Manage and encrypt records on your network connected personal equipment. <br />2.Understand how to use your personal equipment. <br />3.Immediately report lost or stolen network connected personal equipment to your <br />DHIEOldesignee. <br />4.Immediately report virus or malicious software detection on your network connected <br />personal equipment to IT. <br />5.Keep your network connected personal equipment password protected,upgraded, <br />and patched. <br />6.Use your network connected personal equipment safely and securely. <br />7.Ask your DHIEO,supervisor,or IT if you have any questions about this or any other <br />policy. <br />6.5.3 IT <br />1.Register and document all personal equipment connecting to the KCounty network <br />and EAS. <br />2.Remote wipe any lost,stolen,or high--risk separation mobile network connected <br />personal equipment when notified. <br />27
