Changes-JACOBSmayauthorizeminorvariationsintheworkwhichdonotinvolveanadjustmentintheContractor'scontractpricenortimeforconstructionandarenotinconsistentwiththeintentofthecontractdocuments.JACOBSwillassisttheCountywiththeissuanceofchangestothecontractforconstruction,includingadditionaldesignandengineeringservicestopreparedrawings,specificationsandotherinformation.JACOBSwillreceiveandreviewtheContractor'sresponsetotherequestforchangeandwillobtainanyadditionalinformationnecessarytoevaluatethebasisfortherequest.JACOBSwillassisttheCountywithnegotiationsanduponapprovalwillpreparefinalchangeorderdocumentsforexecutionbytheCountyandContractor.JACOBSshallreviewallContractor-requestedchangestothecontractforconstruction.JACOBSwillmakerecommendationstotheCountyregardingacceptabilityoftherequest.Uponapprovaloftherequest,JACOBSwillassisttheCountywithnegotiationsofthechangeandpreparefinalchangeorderdocuments.JACOBSwillprovidemonthlyreportstotheCountyaboutthestatusofChangeOrders.ThisreportshallincludealogofissuedChangeOrders,pendingChangeOrders,andChangeOrderamounts.ContractorClarificationsandRequestsforInformation(RFI)-JACOBSwillreviewuptotwenty(20)Contractor'requestsforinformationorclarificationofthecontractforconstruction.JACOBSwillcoordinatesuchreviewwiththedesignteamandwiththeCountyasappropriate.JACOBSwillcoordinateandissueresponsestotherequests.JACOBSwillassisttheCountyinreviewingandrespondingtotheContractor'srequestsforsubstitutionofmaterialsandequipment.JACOBSwillreviewsuchrequestsandwilladvisetheCountyastotheacceptabilityofsuchsubstitutions.InterpretationsofContractDocuments-JACOBSwillprovidewrittenresponsestotheContractor'srequestforinterpretationorclarificationofthecontractdocuments.As-BuiltDrawingsandRecordDocuments-JACOBSwillcoordinatetheContractor'ssubmittalofas-builtdrawings,specificationsandotheras-builtorrecorddocumentsandshalltransmitthesetotheCounty.ClaimsandDisputes-JACOBSwillreceive,logandnotifytheCountyaboutalllettersandnoticesfromtheContractorconcerningclaimsordisputesbetweentheContractorandtheCountypertainingtotheacceptabilityoftheworkortheinterpretationoftherequirementsofthecontractforconstruction.ProjectControls-JACOBSwillreviewtheContractor'sconstructionscheduleandverifythatitisconsistentwiththerequirementsofthecontractforconstruction.JACOBSwillreviewtheContractor'speriodicscheduleupdatesorotherschedulesubmissions.JACOBSwillreviewinformationsubmittedbytheContractorregardingtheeffectofproposedorissuedChangeOrdersupontheconstructionschedule,durationandcompletiondate.JACOBSwilladvisetheCountyastothepotentialimpactofproposedorissuedChangeOrders.JACOBS
