Task2:ServicesDuringBidandAwardoftheContractforConstructionJACOBSwillprovideservicestoassisttheCountyinselectionofasingleContractorfortheconstructionoftheproject.Theseserviceswillconsistofthefollowing:PreparationofBidDocuments-JACOBSwillassisttheCountyinassemblingtheBidDocuments.TheseBidDocumentsarecomprisedoftheupfrontdocuments,standardCountyboilerplate,specialprovisions,thetechnicalspecificationsandthedesigndrawings.BidPeriodInformationRequests-JACOBSwilldevelopandimplementproceduresforreceivingandansweringbidders'questionsandrequestsforadditionalinformation.Theproceduresshallincludealogofuptotwenty(20)significantbidders'questionsandrequestsandtheresponsethereto.JACOBSwillprovidetechnicalinterpretationofthecontractbiddocumentsandwillprepareproposedresponsestouptotwenty(20)bidders'questionsandrequests.Pre-BidConference-JACOBSwillassisttheCountyinarrangingandconductingonepre-bidconference.JACOBSwillassisttheCountyindevelopingtheagendaandcontentofthepre-bidconference.JACOBSwillprepareapre-bidconferencesummary.JACOBSwillalsorecordquestionsandrequestsforadditionalinformationandshallcoordinatewiththeCountyforissuingresponsesandadditionalinformation.Addenda-JACOBSwillassisttheCountyinissuinguptothree(3)AddendatotheBidDocumentsandshalldistributeAddendatothebidders.AllAddendashallbeapprovedbytheCounty.RecommendationofContractAward-JACOBSwillprovidetheCountywitharecommendationofaward.TheCountyshallsignthenoticeofawardandthenoticetoproceed.Assumptions:•TheCountyshallberesponsiblefordistributionofbiddocuments•JACOBS'serviceswithinthistaskarebaseduponthetaskscopeasanticipatedatthetimethattheseservicesareagreed.DeviationsfromtheanticipatedscopewillmateriallyaffecttheseservicesandJACOBS'compensationfortheservicesandwillrequireanadjustment•Executionofservicesduringbidandawardofthecontractforconstructionwillnotbedelayedbytraveland/orself-isolationrestrictionslocallyornationallyimposedduetoCOVID-19.JACOBSisnotresponsibleforschedulechangesrelatedtoCOVID-19Deliverables:•PreparedBidDocuments•Logofuptotwenty(20)bidders'questionsandrequestsalongwithuptotwenty(20)suppliedresponses•One(1)draftandone(1)finalpre-bidconferenceagenda•One(1)hourpre-bidconferencesupportedbytwo(2)JacobspersonnelheldinaccordancewithlocalandnationalguidelinesrelatedtoCOVID-19•Pre-bidconferencesummary,documentation,questionlogandrequestsforadditionalinformation•Developmentanddistributionofuptothree(3)AddendatotheBidDocuments
