Visitors: Based on our daily attendance logs, lp code surveys, guest book <br />entries, and in person visitor discussions, we knowthat WSSSM 6,000 annual <br />visitors come from many regions. While the majority are from the 50+ mile radius of <br />the Seattleffacoma melro area, feriver than 10% come from inside Kittitas County. <br />Other top destinations in the state include Bainbridge lsland, Yakima, and <br />Snohomish County. Top states mentioned in recent guest book logs include <br />Oregon, California, ldaho, Colorado, Lltah, Montana, Alaska, Virginia, Vermont, <br />Ohio, NewMexico, Haraaii, Florida, and Maine. International visitors include <br />Canada, UK, Japan, Malaysia. Ausiralia. Bra2l, France, and others. <br />2. Year-round destination: During the winter, the main attraction on Snoqualmie <br />Pass is skiing and snovrrboarding. Outdoor recreation in the summer, <br />spring and fall make the area a year-round tourist destination. Story-Telling Museum: Because \€ are a newer facility opened in 2015, the <br />museum uras created as a storytelling, interactive museum. Monitors throughout <br />enhance the experience of each eiribit. Kids and adults alike love to push the <br />button to activate the enormous rope towthat resides in the museunt's rafters. <br />Because \e are a smaller museum. each visit is really a personal tour by a <br />museum volunteer who will cater to each visitor's interests. With the Commonuealth <br />restaurant able to cater food and Dru Bru for drinks, organizations like Tearn <br />Alpental Snoqualmie and other private individuals have utilized the museum for <br />their ovrn parties.
