EDE puts on high quality, family friendly, affordable productions and provides <br />premium quality dance instruction. <br />The goal wiih our productions is twofold: <br />1) to provide an unparalleled opportunily for our local dance community to perform <br />in live shor,rirs to large audiences <br />2) to bring audiences from around the region to appreciate and support the dance <br />arts in Ellensburg while eperiencing amalng entertainment <br />Longer term goals of EDE include creating opportunities for dance competitions to <br />be localed here and create an even larger audience and appreciation for dance. <br />For our 2021 Season rire will create marketing materials and a reach that lre have <br />never attempted before. We knowthat !!e attract tourism audiences from outside <br />the region to attend The Nutcracker Ballet and we want to do the same for our <br />spring shora,s as ltrell, <br />We'll trork wiih a marketing consultant to identify audiences to target and create a <br />professional image for our company. We have incredible facilities here that can <br />support large audiences and the partnership with CWU will allow us to capitalize on <br />that as well. <br />2500 character lidt <br />Describe tire p'ior success of your evenVactivity,.facility in atlractio,r lollrists. <br />We did not have any productions in 2020 due to covid cancellations. <br />We have attached numbers from CWU - wtro sells tickets for The Nutcracker Ballet <br />- attached. These historic numbers showan audience attending from a broad <br />spectrum of the PNW. ln 2018, of the 500 ticket purchases wtro bought online <br />(lhere are substantial ticket purchases at the door rafro are not iracked for <br />address), about 40q/o are from more than 50 miles ar,rey. <br />Those numbers reflect a very small - to negligible - amounl of advertising to <br />anyv*rere outside of Ellensburg. <br />2500 character lirnt <br />3llmpact
