To a place fifty miles or more a!€y from their place of residence or business for the day or staying overnight; <br />3. or from another country or state outside of their place of residence or business. <br />You must provide the evidence utilized in determining your projections. <br />Response 2.1 *Why would lor-rrists travd to ldttitas County to attend your evenVactivity/facility? <br />Cle EIum and Kittitas County are gaining popularity for e4ceriencing and exploring <br />the outdoors and the many different recreational venues that our counly has to <br />offer. Even lhrough COVID 19, travel to our community has remained consistent <br />and strong. This past spring and summer retail revenue has also remained strong. <br />The location and travel time to Cle Elum has definitely been seen as a plus, and it <br />has placed Cle Elum on the map for easy access and travel from areas fifty miles <br />or farther. <br />Building on the growing popularity of our region, the breadth of recrealional <br />opportunities that all ages can erylore, vrre feel confident that an Outdoor Epo will <br />encourage, interest and even increase visiiors and tourists to our area. <br />Working with our local businesses, hotels and resorts, our association has the <br />ability to plan and promote the E&o. Locally, we offer quick and safe access to <br />vmter sports, fishing, biking, hiking, birding, rock hunting, camping, softball, <br />baseball, skiing, snor.r,rnobiling, cross-country skiing, horseback riding, hunting and <br />much more. <br />The Outdoor Expo will introduce newand returning visitors to the naiural amenities <br />and recreational services our community and county provide, as a result, rdren <br />people think of recreation, Cle Elum and Kittitas County will be continue to a <br />destination of choice. <br />Building on the growing popularity of our region, the breadih of recreational <br />opportunities that all ages carr erplore, r,re feel con{ident that an Outdoor Expo will <br />encourage, interest and even increase visiiors and tourists to our area. <br />2500 character linil
