While the majority are from the 50+ mile radius of <br />the Seattleffacoma metro area, fei.rier than 10% come from inside Kittitas County. <br />Other top destinations in the state include Bainbridge lsland, Yakima, and <br />Snohomish County. Top states meniioned rn recent guest book logs include <br />Oregon, California, ldaho, Colorado, LJtah, Montana, Alaska, Virginia, Vermont, <br />Ohio, NewMexico, Haraaii, Florida, and Maine. lnternatiorral visitors include <br />Canada, UK, Japan. Location: WSSSM is ideally located just off l-90, exit 52 eastbound, on busy <br />rouie 906, across the street from the Chevron and The Summit lnn in the new Pass <br />Life development. WSSSM sits in between tlvr popular establishments - the <br />Commonwealth restaurant and Dru Bru Breuery, making the museum easy to <br />access. <br />4. Story-Telling Museum: Because \rye are a nerarer facility opened in 2015, the <br />museum uras created as a storytel|ng, interactive museum. Monitors throughout <br />enhance the experience of each e>&ribit. Kids and adults alike love to push the <br />button to activate the enormous rope towthat resides in the nruseunr's rafters. <br />Because \ € are a smaller museum, each visit is really a personal tour by a <br />museum volunteer who will cater to each visitor's interests. Wrth many families <br />home schooling, parents are looking for local in person learning opportunities and <br />WSSSM easily fits that niche. Our new snorrboarding erhibit, set to open in 2A21 , <br />will attract a more diverse audience to the museum. <br />5. Event Space: WSSSM is an ideal event space. With the Commonrlealth <br />restaurant able to cater food and Dru Bru for drinks, organizations like Team <br />Alpental Snoqualmie and other private individuals have utilized the museum for <br />their own parties.
