Additional lnformation Based on these data points from: Star Destination Report, Kittitas County Chamber <br />of Commerce, we predict 10,500 people will travel to Upper County in 2A21 from <br />50+ miles outside of the county for leisure activities. ln addition, vre predict this <br />could bring 4,200 room nights at the average ADR of $106.13, equaling a toial <br />impact of $445,746 to the upper county area. <br />The demand of hotel room nights sold in 2019 in the county uas 49,000 for leisure <br />travel that includes events, Upper Couniy properiies selling 14,000 hotel room <br />nights. 30% of that number, (the average percent of 50 miles or further traveling <br />for events) = 4,200 room nighis. <br />ln 2020, consultants from Arnett Muldrow conducted a community market analysis <br />that deiermined a high demand of visitors in dovrnrtown Cle Elum. By using the <br />previous calculations and using the information provided by the STAR report <br />specifically for the county, ii indicates an estimated 79o increase of weekly visitors <br />in 2021 compared to 2019.
