Future Plans*Each year, The Cle Elum Dou,ntorirn Association Board of Directors and Committees develop raork plans wtrich specifically address creaiing a more sustainable environment, one that builds capacity for lhe organization and marketing efforts for the downtovrn. As CEDA shoi,ra more and more success with its downtovw reviialization efforts, a stronger environment for increased parinerships and opportunities for giving and sponsor events is evolving. CEDA has experienced a growth in donor support and is in lhe process of developing a strategic donor program uhich u,e hope will engage participation from local community and business ovmers. We continue to reach for an increase each year of 15% in our donor support. Our relationship with community organizations and small family foundations has also enabled us to increase our suppori this past year, \ € are continuing this relationship and will be asking for continued support. We are finding that more and more organizations and businesses value our ralrcrk and the marketing reach that ulre can provide. Pioneer Day Activities did not occur as planned due to COVID and our current Phased approach. However, the Cle Elum Downtown Associaiion took a look at what u,le could do and modified the planned weekend. We starled early with promoting a July 4th feel in our do\Mto\ t-r; window decorations, retail aciivities and collaborative programming with other organizations which promoted and supporled our retail and lodging businesses. We are using this same philosophy to adapt our BooElum event that usually drar,r,s 1,500 family members. With the event being on a Saturday our Association had been anticipating that there \,!ould be a draw from fifty nriles or farther and Suncadia. This year \,e are taking components that wculd been added and modifying them to fit the Phase 3 approach that has been approved by Dr. Larson. This lype of planning is already being looked at by the Chrisirnas in Cle Elum planning commitiee. We knowthat there will be iravelers, lodging will busy at our local hotels and Suncadia, ue are in full gear to offer a fun holiday e4perience in downtown Cle Elum. 2500 character limt
