lf your organization collaborates or has created partnershipswith other organizations, groups, or other <br />events, how is this accomplished? <br />4.1 Collaboration *Our partnership with hotels and resorts, community partners and new partnerships <br />that lve have esiablished over the past year have beerr strengthened through our <br />intentional outreach to build a ranrking and collaborative relationship. <br />We have established a monthly check-ins with our local hotel and lodging facilities <br />to share activities and events that their lodgers might like lo know about. We've <br />helped them become more of a community member through activities that they can <br />engage in and rrrere previously not asked to consider, such as a donation of <br />unused personal care products to HopeSource. <br />COVID 19 has provided our organization with many new opportunities to <br />partnership in our dovr,ntor,rn, with community organizations. The Main Street <br />philosophy and success that our Dorrlrtown Association follous, if founded on the <br />premise that "together" we build a vital economic business and community. We <br />work together will our businesses to identify retail activities, promotional <br />opportunities and celebrations that encourage participation by travelers and <br />tourists. <br />The Cle Elum Downtowr Association has four primary committees, all wtro are <br />centered in economic vitality and ra,orking hard to meet the needs of our business <br />and tourism goals. Board members participate on and with Service Organizations, <br />City Council, Business Associations, Kittiias County Chamber, Tourism and Travel, <br />lndustry. Real Estate, and more. Our reach allovrrs us to feel and understand the <br />pulse of how to help our communiiy in supporting their events as urell as providing <br />an opportunity for support from our partners. We see <br />this as an opporiunity to increase pariicipation and draw even larger nunrbers of <br />tourists to Cle Elum. <br />Our uebsite is a place where current infornration on local businesses is available to <br />those seeking online information, ue will continue to maintain links to county-wide <br />tourism. We produce print material, promote through social media tools and on-air <br />marketing. All development of tor,rn guides, maps will continue to promote upcoming <br />events 1o increase the exposure and exciiement around discovering and e)ploring <br />in and around ihe Cle Elum area. <br />We have begun talking with our lodging esiablishments about the potential of <br />offering overnight specials during our major events, to promote local lodging and to <br />increase retail revenue.
