• Utilize conceptual layouts prepared during the permitting phase identifying the collector road, Highway 97 improvements, and utilities (water, sewer, electric, gas, and stormwater features). • Utilize City of Ellensburg Public Works Development Standards details and specification for utilities and street standards, including lighting and sidewalk. • Utilize State of Washington 2020 Standard Specifications for Road, Bridge, and Municipal Construction (M41-10) for road construction and improvements. • Prepare "bid ready" plans and specifications utilizing COUNTY standard contract documents. JACOBS assumes thirty (30) drawing/plan sheets will be necessary for the design package, including details. • Cover Sheet (1) • Site Plan and General Note Sheet (2) • Temporary MOT Plan Sheets (2) • Collector Road Plan and Profile Sheets (4) • Typical Road Sections and Standard Details Sheets (2) • Highway 97 Improvements Plan Sheet (2) • Striping and Signage Plan Sheets (4) • Floodplain Channel Plan and Detail Sheets (2) • Utilities Plan and Detail Sheets (3) • Electrical and Lighting Plan Sheets (3) • Drainage Plan and Detail Sheets (3) • Landscaping Plan Sheets (2) Assumptions • All specifications will be prepared in the "Construction Specifications Institute" format • Jacobs will meet via skype call with COUNTY staff prior to completion of each of the three levels of design plans and specifications to review the design and receive comments. The one hour meeting will be attended by three (3) Jacobs staff. • Jacobs will incorporate one round of COUNTY comments received from the design review meetings into the design plans as appropriate (3 total). • ROW work is not included in Jacobs SOW. • State, City, and local standard details can be referenced in the plans without incorporating and drafting standard.details into the plan set. Deliverables • Draft and Final Basis of Design Memo • 60% Progress set of Plans, Specifications, and Estimate • 90% Design Plans (11x17 PDF) • Special Provisions for Roadway Elements • Compiled 90% PS&E Set • 100% Design Plans (11x17 PDF and CAD files) • Compiled 100% PS&E Set • List of Bid Items and Quantities with backup calculations • Probable construction cost for advertisement Task 5: Unplanned/Unanticipated Critical Tasks This task is to ensure that continuous service shall be provide to the COUNTY for any known unidentified tasks which may require the services of Jacobs. This task is to provide other consultant services, which are unplanned, urgent, and/or critical to maintaining the project schedule or progress of the work.
