• Utilize conceptual layouts prepared during the permitting phase identifying the collector road, <br />Highway 97 improvements, and utilities (water, sewer, electric, gas, and stormwater features). <br />• Utilize City of Ellensburg Public Works Development Standards details and specification for utilities <br />and street standards, including lighting and sidewalk. <br />• Utilize State of Washington 2020 Standard Specifications for Road, Bridge, and Municipal <br />Construction (M41-10) for road construction and improvements. <br />• Prepare "bid ready" plans and specifications utilizing COUNTY standard contract documents. <br />JACOBS assumes thirty (30) drawing/plan sheets will be necessary for the design package, including <br />details. <br />• Cover Sheet (1) <br />• Site Plan and General Note Sheet (2) <br />• Temporary MOT Plan Sheets (2) <br />• Collector Road Plan and Profile Sheets (4) <br />• Typical Road Sections and Standard Details Sheets (2) <br />• Highway 97 Improvements Plan Sheet (2) <br />• Striping and Signage Plan Sheets (4) <br />• Floodplain Channel Plan and Detail Sheets (2) <br />• Utilities Plan and Detail Sheets (3) <br />• Electrical and Lighting Plan Sheets (3) <br />• Drainage Plan and Detail Sheets (3) <br />• Landscaping Plan Sheets (2) <br />Assumptions <br />• All specifications will be prepared in the "Construction Specifications Institute" format <br />• Jacobs will meet via skype call with COUNTY staff prior to completion of each of the three levels of <br />design plans and specifications to review the design and receive comments. The one hour meeting <br />will be attended by three (3) Jacobs staff. <br />• Jacobs will incorporate one round of COUNTY comments received from the design review meetings <br />into the design plans as appropriate (3 total). <br />• ROW work is not included in Jacobs SOW. <br />• State, City, and local standard details can be referenced in the plans without incorporating and <br />drafting standard.details into the plan set. <br />Deliverables <br />• Draft and Final Basis of Design Memo <br />• 60% Progress set of Plans, Specifications, and Estimate <br />• 90% Design Plans (11x17 PDF) <br />• Special Provisions for Roadway Elements <br />• Compiled 90% PS&E Set <br />• 100% Design Plans (11x17 PDF and CAD files) <br />• Compiled 100% PS&E Set <br />• List of Bid Items and Quantities with backup calculations <br />• Probable construction cost for advertisement <br />Task 5: Unplanned/Unanticipated Critical Tasks <br />This task is to ensure that continuous service shall be provide to the COUNTY for any known unidentified <br />tasks which may require the services of Jacobs. This task is to provide other consultant services, which <br />are unplanned, urgent, and/or critical to maintaining the project schedule or progress of the work. <br />
