This effort will utilize the <br />features, data, concepts and assumptions that were developed during the planning and permitting <br />phases of the project (Phases 1 thru 5). <br />4.1 Roadway, Utilities, and Floodplain Design Services <br />a. Coordinate with COUNTY and other discipline leads to incorporate structures, ROW, and <br />hydraulic design elements into the Project Design File. <br />b. Develop a preliminary Basis of Design Memo including project criteria, existing and <br />proposed geometrics, project constraints, design speed, clear zone, design elements, <br />design variances, design decisions, drainage design, stormwater evaluation, <br />environmental permits, ROW, hydraulics, maintenance of traffic (MOT), maintenance <br />concerns, and any outstanding issues to be resolved. Some of these elements may not <br />be applicable for this project._ <br />c. Develop the Project Design File. <br />d. Develop a 60% Design plan set with existing and proposed horizontal and vertical <br />roadway centerline and utility alignments, including site utilities, grading for floodplain <br />channel, and landscaping plans for review by the COUNTY. The 60% Design plan set will <br />be transmitted to the County for review and comment. <br />e. Prepare 90% contract plan set which will include the following, as applicable: <br />L Horizontal and Vertical Alignment, as necessary <br />ii. Typical Sections <br />iii. Site Prep Plans <br />iv. Grading Plans <br />v. Paving Plans <br />vi. Barrier Plans <br />vii. MOT Plans <br />viii. Detail Plans <br />ix. Special Provisions for Roadway Construction <br />x. Compiled 90% plans from all disciplines <br />xi. 90% cost estimate for Roadway elements <br />f. The 90% Design plan set will be transmitted to the County for review and comment. <br />g. Provide Plans and Specifications and estimate (PS&E) Support by: <br />A. Prepare complete roadway calculations for applicable design elements per <br />WSDOT and/or AASHTO standards and COUNTY Code. <br />ii. Provide compiled 100% Design Plans (For Construction), Special Provisions, and <br />Engineers Estimate of Probable Construction Cost. <br />As part of this plan and specification preparation process, Jacobs will perform the following: <br />
