05/19/2020 MINUTES 2 <br />admission into the Kittitas County Fair on the Last Day of the <br />Annual Fair (Labor Day). The record was open. <br /> KADY PORTERFIELD, EVENT CENTER DIRECTOR reviewed a Staff Report and <br />explained how the Kittitas County Fair Board would like to offer a <br />discounted admission day for families on Monday of the last day of <br />the Kittitas County Fair. The Fair opening hours are much shorter <br />than the other days, and it would be a new strategy to help improve <br />the marketing of attending the Fair on Labor Day. <br /> THERE BEING NO ONE REQUESTING TO TESTIFY, THE PUBLIC PORTION OF THE HEARING WAS CLOSED. RESOLUTION 2020-101 DISCOUNT RATE – FAIR EVENT CENTER CHAIRMAN WACHSMITH moved to approve Resolution No. 2020-101, <br />Authorizing the Discount Rate of Half-Priced Admission to the <br />Kittitas County Fair on Labor Day. COMMISSIONER OSIADACZ seconded. <br />Motion carried 3-0. <br /> PUBLIC HEARING VENDOR BOOTH RATES EVENT CENTER <br />At 2:07 p.m. CHAIRMAN WACHSMITH opened a Public Hearing continued <br />from April 21, 2020 to consider Vendor Booth Fees for the ChillAxle <br />Car Show and Patriot Night Under the Lights Event. The record was <br />open. <br /> KADY PORTERFIELD, EVENT CENTER DIRECTOR reviewed a Staff Report and <br />explained although the events were cancelled for 2020 due to COVID- <br />19 and, she would like the Board to consider setting vendor booth <br />rates for future years. She said the rates were based on size, <br />time, and duration of the events. The ChillAxle Car Show was <br />proposed at $50.00 and Patriot Night Under the Lights was $150.00 <br />for vendor booths. <br /> THERE BEING NO ONE REQUESTING TO TESTIFY, THE PUBLIC PORTION OF THE HEARING WAS CLOSED. RESOLUTION 2020-102 VENDOR BOOTH RATES EVENT CENTER CHAIRMAN WACHSMITH moved to approve Resolution No. 2020-102, to <br />Adopt Vendor Booth Rates for ChillAxle Car Show and Patriot Night <br />Under the Lights. COMMISSIONER OSIADACZ seconded. Motion carried 3- <br />0. <br /> PUBLIC HEARING COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT COMMISSIONERS <br />At 2:09 p.m. CHAIRMAN WACHSMITH opened a Public Hearing continued <br />from April 7, 2020 to review Community Development and Housing <br />Needs, Inform Citizens of the Availability of Funds and Eligible
