05/19/2020 MINUTES 3 <br />Uses of the State Community Development Block Grant Funds and to <br />receive comments on the CDBG Funds and proposed activities, <br />particularly from lower income persons residing in Kittitas County. <br />There is $84,239.00 proposed to be available annually to Kittitas <br />County and HopeSource to Fund Public Services that principally <br />benefit low-and moderate-income persons. There was also an <br />opportunity to receive comments on the program’s past performance <br />and the use of the 2019 CDBG Public Service Grant Funds. The record <br />was open. <br /> SUSAN GRINDLE, EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR FOR HOPESOURCE provide a report on <br />the proposed Community Development Block Grant Funds application <br />materials which would begin July 1, 2020 through June 30, 2021. The <br />grant amount was in the amount of $84,239.00, that included a <br />$3,500.00 administration fee for Kittitas County. She reviewed the <br />proposed activities that would benefit particularly low-and <br />moderate-income persons including Hope University and Coaching <br />program. <br /> THERE BEING NO ONE REQUESTING TO TESTIFY, THE PUBLIC PORTION OF THE HEARING WAS CLOSED. RESOLUTION 2020-103 COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT COMMISSIONERS CHAIRMAN WACHSMITH moved to approve Resolution No. 2020-103, <br />Certifications of Compliance for CDBG Public Services Grant Only, <br />and to approve the 2020 Community Development Block Grant Public <br />Services Funds, in the amount of $84,239.00 for the time beginning <br />July 1, 2020 through June 30, 2021.
