The county Is taking the <br />Opportunity to evaluate the countermeasures recently Installed for performance success to see <br />If intersection related accidents decrease. This will allow for identification of whether or not <br />additional countermeasures may need to be implemented at the Matthews Rd and No. 6 Rd <br />Intersections of Kittitas Hwy. <br />The combination of accident history at No. 6 Rd and Vantage Hwy along with a site visit brought <br />this segment into the list of projects. The Vantage Hwy/No. 6 Rd project would include providing <br />an adequate clear zone, signs and possible realignment. Monitoring and evaluation will also <br />continue at this location to identify potential safety Improvement opportunities. <br />14 <br />
