6. A pre -construction meeting is required with the County Engineer or designee prior to <br />commencing any work on site. Please contact the KCPW office at 509-962-7523 to <br />schedule a pre -construction meeting. Failure to comply may result in a delayed <br />construction start. <br />7. All plans and reports must be approved prior to the pre -construction meeting and must <br />be present at the pre -construction meeting. The Traffic Control Plan, per MUTCD and <br />WSDOT Work Zone Traffic Control Guidelines, must also be present at the pre - <br />construction meeting. Failure to comply may result in a delayed pre -construction meeting. <br />8. Approved construction plans shall be on the job site at all times when project is under <br />construction. <br />9. If adequate inspection is not completed and documented before completion of the <br />roadway construction, it may be necessary for core drilling and testing to be performed to <br />assure an acceptable quality roadway. When core drilling is found to be necessary, the <br />applicant will be held responsible for all costs incurred. <br />10. It will be the applicant's responsibility to contact all utility companies in order to assure <br />that all lines, conduits, poles, vaults, and other appurtenances are properly located and <br />their installation is coordinated with the road construction. All utility relocation work shall <br />be at the expense of the applicant and must be in accordance with Title 12 of the Kittitas <br />County Code, prior to road acceptance. <br />11. Culvert pipe within the County Road right-of-way with exposed ends shall be 18 -inch <br />diameter minimum galvanized corrugated metal or ADS N-12 with beveled ends per KCC <br />12.04.05.080 unless otherwise noted. <br />12. Buried utilities are shown in their approximate location. The applicant shall have utilities <br />verified on the ground prior to any construction. <br />13. Onsite erosion control measures shall be the responsibility of the applicant and be in <br />place prior to construction. Any problems occurring before final acceptance by Kittitas <br />County and within 18 months thereafter shall be corrected by the applicant. At the end of <br />18 month period, or as otherwise directed by the County Engineer, the applicant shall <br />remove all temporary, non -degradable erosion control measures. <br />14. The applicant shall be responsible for controlling dust that is generated by the <br />construction project. <br />15. Any revisions to plans must be made by the applicant's engineer and approved by the <br />County Engineer prior to any implementation in the field. <br />16. All pavement markings shall conform to the requirements of the MUTCD. <br />17.
