Dept. of Public Works <br />Page 2 <br />Board Direction: Commissioner Jewell directed staff to keep the <br />process specific to Public Works for now. <br />WSDOT PARK AND RIDE <br />AGREEMENT. Mark reported that the Mobility Grant has been received <br />and a new agreement has been produced for approval. <br />Commissioner Jewell inquired on who will own and <br />maintain the park and ride. Mark responded that the <br />agreement states that it will go to the Washington State <br />Department of Transportation. The agreement does not <br />include funds for contract administration. <br />Board Direction: Commissioner Berndt requested the agreement be <br />placed on the January agenda for consideration. <br />BOWERS FIELD AIRPORT <br />fir) F-1 F3i-1z1TJW <br />ADVISORY GROUP. <br />Mark stated that he met with the Airport Advisory Board to <br />discuss staffing of the Master Plan Update Advisory Group. <br />The Board previously indicated that a mix of interest be <br />representing the advisory board, local neighbors, lessees <br />and planning interest. The proposed members are as <br />follows: Three (3) Airport Advisory Board Members; Two <br />(2) Airport Neighbors; Three (3) Lessees; Two (2) Ex - <br />officio members; One (1) Member of the Board of County <br />Commissioners; and the Public Works Director. <br />Commissioner Jewell indicated to make sure that someone <br />from Community Development Services is included in the <br />group. <br />Board Direction: <br />No Direction <br />BOWERS FIELD AIRPORT <br />DISADVANTAGED BUSINESS <br />ENTERPRISE POLICY (DBE): <br />'^ <br />Mark discussed the DBE Policy for Bowers Field. Public <br />Works received a Federal Aviation Administration grant <br />supporting an update to the airport's master plan. FAA is <br />requesting to have their DBE policy be adopted for use. <br />Staff submitted the adopted Federal Highway <br />Administration's DBE policy to see if that would be <br />sufficient for use. The FAA responded that their policy <br />needs to be adopted for use. <br />Board Direction: <br />No Direction <br />411 N.
