Project Outreach and Communication Pian <br />The CTP will work with the Regional Office during the initiation of this activity to develop the POCP to <br />support the implementation of the mapping project. The Regional Office will have access to many <br />customizable outreach tools that have been developed for this process to support each touchpoint that the <br />PMT has with the community. <br />Standards: All Community Engagement and Outreach work shall be performed in accordance with the <br />standards specified in Section 5 — Standards. All communication with local governments will be done in <br />accordance with 44 CFR Part 66. <br />Deliverables: The CTP shall deliver the following to the FEMA Regional Project Officer in <br />accordance with the schedule outlined in Section 6 — Schedule and include within the Technical <br />Support Data Notebook (TSDN):A Project Communication Plan detailing outreach and <br />coordination activities <br />• Watershed/Community Assessment outputs, including logs of telephone discussions (if <br />applicable) <br />• Meeting invitation, agenda, presentation slides (as requested), and meeting notes for FEMA <br />review <br />• Action Identification and Advancement Plan <br />• Project update status reports for project communities. <br />Perform Field Survey <br />Note: CTPs should consider including and completing this task in the MIP if the partner believes data <br />will need to he submitted during the course of the project, even if conducting field survey is not included <br />in the MAS. In addition, leveraged field survey data must he documented and submitted for this task: <br />Failure to submit this data could result in the workflow being reverted hack to production tasks and could <br />lead to a delay in the schedule. If the CTP obtains field survey data that was not included in the MAS the <br />CTP shall contact the Region to submit a change request to include the task and leverage as part of the <br />award and request that this task be added to the MIP workflow. <br />Responsible Mapping Partner: Kittitas County Public Works <br />Scone: To supplement any field reconnaissance conducted during the Discovery phase of this project, the <br />CTP shall conduct a detailed field reconnaissance of the specific study area to determine conditions along <br />the floodplain(s), types and numbers of hydraulic and/or flood -control structures, apparent maintenance or <br />lack thereof of existing hydraulic structures, locations of cross sections to be surveyed, and other <br />parameters needed for the hydrologic and hydraulic analyses. <br />The CTP shall conduct field surveys, including obtaining channel and floodplain cross sections, <br />identifying or establishing temporary or permanent bench marks, and obtaining the physical dimensions <br />of hydraulic and flood -control structures. The CTP shall also coordinate with other entities that are <br />involved in the Topographic Data Development process regarding ongoing activities and deliverables. <br />National FY16 Flood Risk Project MAS Template Version 1.0 <br />Mapping Activity Statement No. {MASNo ) 10 <br />
