WATERSHED Science & Engineering 110 Prefontalne Place South, Suite 508 Seattle, WA 98104 (206) 521-3000 Completion Date: 05/31/2014 Description of Work: IMrodve-"Jan The purpose of this Task Order is to authorize Watershed Science & Engineering (WSE) to assist the County with the preparation of three Floodplain by Design (FbD) pre-appilcations, one Salmon Recover Funding Board (SREFS) pre -application, and one Yakima Basin Integrated Plan Scope of Work. These documents are critical forthe County to have an opportunity to pursue over $10 million In funding for flood hazard reduction and habitat improvement acquisition and restoration efforts In the County. The projects to be funded consist of the following: 1) ManastashCreek Corridor Plan Phase 11—FbDPre-Application 2) Yakima River Corridor Pian Implementation— FbDPre-Application 3) Reecer, Currier Creek and Whiskey Creek, Phase III —FbD Pre -Application 4) Ringer Loop Road Restoration Design —SRFB Pre -Application 5) Yakima River Corridor Pian Implementation; Property Acquisition, Easement Acquisition, and Design Projects —Yakima Basin Integrated Plan Scrape -of -Work. Most of these documents have been partially completed by the County, and the County has provided WSE with the draft documents and much of the associated background Information.
