KITTITAS COUNTY <br />DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />STUD SESSION STAFF REPORT <br />STUDY SESSION DATE: May 13", 2019 <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Approve a Resolution Authorizing the Director <br />of Public Works to Authorize a Notice of Call for Bids for <br />the Weihl Road Improvements Project. <br />BACKGROUND: Weihl Road Improvement District 201$x01 was recently <br />formulated by the Board. Several delays have kept the <br />project from going to advertisement. The project is now <br />ready for construction advertising. <br />INTERACTION: Public Works <br />RECOMMENDATION: Approve the Resolution Authorizing the Director of Public <br />Works to Authorize a Notice of Call for Bids for the Weihl <br />Road Improvements Project and direct staff to advertise <br />for two consecutive weeks (05116 and 05/23) with a bid <br />opening date of May 29, 2019 at 2:00 PM. <br />HANDLING: Return one original to Public Works <br />ATTACHMENTS: Resolution; Notice of Call For Bids <br />LEAD STAFF: Mark R.
