â–ºiWESTTURY <br />E N G I N E E R I N G <br />TASK 5- ELECTRICAL, LIGHTING, SIGNAGE, & NAVAIDs <br />It is assumed an electrical investigation and electrical lighting, signage, or NAVAID <br />design is not required for this project. If electrical analysis and design is required, this <br />work will be covered under a separate contract task order. <br />Task 5 Work Items: <br />1. This effort is not anticipated for this project and is not included within this scope of <br />work. <br />Primary Task 5 Deliverables: <br />None <br />TASK 6- 90% DESIGN <br />Task 6 Work Items: <br />1. Review task 2 survey data and consolidate plan set base drawing from survey base <br />map prepared under task 2 and previous EA survey data. <br />2. Review and analyze clear approach survey data. Prepare and document clear <br />approach findings in technical memorandum. <br />3. Review geotechnical data and draft report. Provide comments and coordinate <br />HWA's preparation of final report. <br />4. Verify or design the pavement transverse and profile grade design. Grade design is <br />anticipated to closely approximate existing grades, as the improvements are only <br />anticipated to replace the inner 60 feet of the existing 150 foot wide pavement area. <br />Slight grade adjustments will be evaluated to ensure surfaces drain surface water <br />and provide suitable operational surfaces. <br />5. Develop a pavement section design utilizing the FAARFIELD program. The design will <br />developed to support small aircraft (12,500# and under). <br />6. Develop a construction safety and phasing plan and document for the proposed work <br />that maintains safe operations during construction. <br />7. Verify and design runway pavement markings for the rehabilitated runway. Pavement <br />markings will be designed per FAA standards. Pavement markings will include taxiway <br />lead-in markings. <br />7of11 <br />
