WEST�fURY <br />E N G I N E E R I N G <br />Task 3 Work Items: <br />Geotechnical work will be performed as follows: <br />1. Geotechnical tasks: <br />• Conduct Falling Weight Deflectometer (FWD) testing of Runway 7-25 (3,700' length <br />x 60' width), analyze data, and report the findings. <br />• Perform select coring of Runway 7-25 (3,700' length and 60' width) to determine <br />existing pavement depths and approximate aggregate base depths and report <br />findings. <br />• Determine existing subgrade density (compaction), gradations, soil characteristics, <br />and modulus/California Bearing Ratio (CBR) values of material. <br />• Determine existing aggregate base density (compaction), gradations, soil <br />characteristics, and modulus/California Bearing Ratio (CBR) values of material. <br />• Determine gradations, soil characteristics, and modulus/California Bearing Ratio <br />(CBR) values of material of pulverized and blended asphalt/base aggregate mix <br />anticipated to be generated from the reclamation process. <br />+ Catalog the presence of any ground water and/or low strength (unstable) subgrade <br />areas. <br />Primary Task 3 Deliverables: <br />• Draft Geotechnical Report <br />• Final Geotechnical Report <br />TASK 4- NEPA REVIEW AND DOCUMENTATION <br />The FAA has determined the Runway 7-25 project to be Categorically Excluded from <br />further environmental review pursuant to FAA Order 9050.9F, paragraph 5-6.4 (e). This <br />determination was provided by FAA via email on October 25, 2019. <br />Task 4 Work Items: <br />This effort is not required. <br />Primary Task 4 Deliverables: <br />• None <br />6of11 <br />
