Being the festival takes place over the three day <br />weekend in the off season, we offer tourist the opportunity to visit and experience <br />something a little different that takes place indoors. Since it is an indoor event it is <br />not as weather dependent and can be included as part of a all inclusive weekend <br />or as part of a trip or other activity in the Valley. Folks from western Washington <br />can travel over for and participate and enjoy the fun weekend and get out of the <br />grey and rainy weather. <br />Tools we use to measure the impact on tourism include: <br />Gathering Zip codes from ticket sales and merchandise sales. <br />Surveying of attendees in person or through online survey to gathering date and <br />where they stayed, how long they stayed and where they traveled from. <br />Discussions with local lodging facilities to gather information on their guests room <br />nights used. <br />IN the past we have presented a survey to local businesses as well to get feedback <br />on their visitors and sales. <br />2500 character lirrit <br />A. What strategies will you errploy to assure you are attracting tourists fromat least 50 miles away? <br />A marketing campaign will be geared towards reaching customers in Washington, <br />Idaho, Oregon and Montana. We will use online tracking for website visits, ticket <br />purchases, hotel bookings and other similiar items to see results of attracting them <br />to our event. <br />Radio ads will provide a call to action and bring awareness to our event. We will <br />partner with the Chamber of Commerce on distribution of flyers and brochures to <br />visitors requesting information on the community and the event. <br />2500 character linit <br />C.
