Probable construction cost for advertisement <br />Task 09 — Construction Support <br />Jacobs will include engineering services during the bidding and construction phases of the project. Jacobs <br />will be responsible for interpreting contract plans and specifications and providing guidance to the <br />COUNTY as needed. <br />Construction Support <br />a. Response to Contractors RFI's <br />i. Review and respond to Requests for Information throughout the construction <br />period. <br />ii. Coordinate responses with review and approval by the COUNTY. <br />iii. Maintain an RFI log. <br />b. Evaluate Change Orders / CRIP's <br />i. Evaluate contract change orders and/or Cost Reduction Incentive Proposals as <br />requested by the COUNTY. <br />c. Shop Drawings and Construction Submittals Review <br />i. Review construction shop drawings, plans, and other Contractor submissions at <br />the request of the COUNTY. <br />ii. Ensure general conformance with Contract Plans and Specifications. <br />iii. Return shop drawings/submittals stamped to indicate appropriate action. <br />d. Environmental Support <br />i. Prepare Environmental Compliance Plan to document compliance needs during <br />construction. <br />
