~TTIT.A.S COUNTY <br />DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />TASK 2.33 -Cost Estimate <br />TASK 2.34 -Deliverable preparation <br />TASK 2.40 -Quality Control Checks and Reviews <br />TASK 2.50 -Technical Collaboration <br />Structural design engineers will coordinate with survey, civil, geotechnical, hydraulics and <br />environmental engineers for project design and contract coordination. <br />TASK 2.60 -Construction Support <br />If needed to provide support during construction to respond to RFI's and review submittals. <br />TASK3 GEOTECHNICAL ENGINEERING <br />TASK 3.10 -Planning and Research <br />Hart Crowser will review readily available geologic maps and water well logs that cover the site <br />vicinity, and other reports and plans provided by others (if any) for general information <br />regarding subsurface soil and groundwater conditions and geologic hazards. <br />Hart Crowser will coordinate field explorations with KPFF, Kittitas County, USPS, drilling <br />subcontractors, and internal staff. If required, Hart Crowser will submit a traffic control plan for <br />review by the County. <br />TASK 3.20-Field Work <br />TASK 3.21-Site Reconnaissance and Utility Locates <br />Hart Crowser will conduct a reconnaissance to get familiarized with the site. Relevant <br />features will be noted, and the proposed exploration location marked for the utility <br />locators. Hart Crowser will notify "One-Call" service for public utility locates. <br />TASK 3.22 -Field Explorations <br />Hart Crowser will advance one boring near the south side of the bridge. (The north side <br />of the bridge cannot be accessed with drilling equipment due to load restrictions.) The <br />boring will be advanced using a TSi 1 S0CC Sonic Drill, which can typically penetrate
