Add itional/Unexpected Permitting Requirements <br />If, through agency contacts, it is found that additional permits are needed or if additional <br />investigations are necessary to prepare such permits (e.g., a Section 404 Individual Permit), such <br />additional activities are considered beyond the scope of this work and will be negotiated and <br />authorized under a separate agreement or as an amendment to this scope or work. <br />Task 3.10 -FAA Status Briefing <br />Objective: The purpose of this task will be to present the preliminary findings resulting from agency <br />contacts to the County and FAA. <br />Approach: The Consultant will provide the County and FAA with a briefing of the results from the <br />preceding tasks to determine if FAA would require additional investigations, analysis, research, or <br />documentation. The briefing will be conducted via a telephone conference call. <br />Product: The Consultant will provide a summary of preliminary findings to the County and FAA for <br />review, prior to the status briefing. The Consultant will prepare meeting minutes summarizing the <br />briefing with FAA. <br />Deliverables: <br />• Minutes from the FAA Status Briefing <br />TASK 4 -ENVIRONMENTAL ASSESSMENT <br />Task 4.1 -Prepare Preliminary Draft EA <br />Objective: Prepare a Preliminary Draft EA for review by the County and FAA. The County and FAA will <br />provide comments on the Preliminary Draft EA, and the Draft EA will then be prepared to reflect the <br />County and FAA comments on the Preliminary Draft EA. <br />Approach: The Consultant will prepare a Preliminary Draft EA for FAA. The EA will be prepared <br />according to outline specified in FAA Order 5050.4B, The Airpo rt Environmental Handbook and <br />1050.lF. This standard format consists of the following items: <br />• Cover Sheet <br />• Purpose and Need <br />• Proposed Action <br />• Alternatives (including the 'No Action' Alternative) <br />• Affected Environment <br />• This section will include location and vicinity mapping and a copy of the Airport Layout <br />Plan. <br />• Environmental Consequences: <br />Bowers Field Airport Improvements EA <br />April 27, 2018 <br />13
